The Longford business has become more environmentally aware with reducing their carbon footprint.

A Longford company has reduced its carbon footprint by over 60 tonnes after changing the packaging and wrap for some of its products.

Flexible packaging NPP has introduced an innovative animal feed bag and Fiber Film pallet wrap that has helped agricultural business Kiernan Milling based in Granard to reduce its carbon footprint by up to 63 tonnes per year.

The thickness of the animal feed bags has been reduced whilst also integrating 30% recyclable material.
