Tributes are being paid to a former Fianna Fáil TD and Co Roscommon resident after his sudden death.
Seán Sherwin died peacefully at his home in Rooskey yesterday, while aged in his late 70s.
He was a TD in Dublin in the 1970s and was Fianna Fáil's former national organiser in the past.

He moved to Rooskey several years ago and was involved in the community, including with the Active Age and Rooskey Town and Country Development Committee.
