Over 400 patients are waiting over 18 months for treatment at local hospitals.
The most recent report from the National Treatment Purchase Fund reveals just over 8,400 inpatients were on the waiting list as of the end of November.
A total of 4,884 are languishing on outpatient waiting lists at Sligo, Roscommon, Portiuncula and Mullingar hospitals.

As of the 27th of October, this number included 200 children.
