30 waiting for a bed at local hospitals

There are 30 admitted patients on trolleys serving the Shannonside region today.

Sligo University Hospital accounts for 26 of those, with 3 in Mullingar and 1 in Portiuncula.

Nationally,  the INMO trolley watch figures show that 575 patients are waiting for beds, 393 are in emergency departments while 182 are in wards elsewhere.

University Hospital Limerick recorded largest number with 96, followed by Cork University Hospital with 54.
