There were just over 2,000 new car registrations in the Shannonside region last year.
The figures were revealed in the latest report published by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry.
There were just over 1,000 new car registrations in Roscommon in 2025 with 564 in Longford and 466 in Leitrim.
