Monika Tinevova settles down in Cavan Town with Bulgarian husband and five children.
Monika Tinevova from Prague, Czech Republic, describes what it was like living under Communist regime and post revolution, when freedom of speech was permitted and changed everything. She married her Bulgarian husband through the Family Unification movement and moved to Bulgaria to start a family. They then moved to Ireland in 2015 through a friend from their church. A former employee in a music store in her home country, Monika worked for a few years in Dundalk and she is now a healthcare assistant. She believes having migrants is good for Ireland and mutual respect is important.
