A Longford woman, who is the managing director of a school lunch company, is hopeful they can provide up to 50,000 lunches per day by the middle of next year.
Newtowncashel native Ger Killian runs ‘The Lunch Bag’ which has moved its HQ to Athlone recently, with its manufacturing base in Nenagh in County Tipperary.
The company is a partnership with Longford-based Fresh Today which also provides hot school meals to dozens of schools across the country.
