A Longford woman has hit out an unwarranted abuse of drivers who legitimately use special blue parking bays.
Mamie experienced an unfortunate incident in Longford town recently when she was verbally abused when parking on Main Street in the town.
As she parked in a designated zone for people with disabilities in her car which was displaying a European Wheelchair friendly parking permit, another motorist passing remarked to her that her blue pass could possibly be a “fake”.

She told the Joe Finnegan show that she was shocked to hear her being accused of abusing a disabled space, just because she was not in her wheelchair at the time.
