Residents near the flood-affected Lough Funshinagh in Roscommon are meeting with local Oireachtas members in Dublin today to discuss the current status of flood relief works. A planning application for a permanent pipeline was due to be submitted last year but was delayed. Members of the Lough Funshinagh Flood Crisis Committee are hoping today's meeting with TDs Michael Fitzmaurice, Martin Daly and Claire Kerrane and Senator Gareth Scahill will prove fruitful.
