Longford County Council has granted planning permission for a development associated with plans to develop 200 jobs in Longford town.
To facilitate Finesse Medical's expansion that was announced it May, it said it would expand its manufacturing facility at Lisnamuck.
Those plans were lodged with the council almost two months ago, involving a 5,100-square-metre extension to the side, front and rear of the existing industrial unit – and have not been approved, subject to nine conditions.
