Three local primary schools participated in the recent Roscommon Mini Motion Pictures Film Festival. Curraghboy NS, Granard NS and Lanesborough Primary School took part in a film-making competition supported by Roscommon County Council Creative Schools and the Creative Ireland Programme.
Each school's short film --- which ranged from stories of time-travel to a bingo night gone wrong -- was presented to a panel of judges. Local photographer and founder of Shuttermaniac, Lee Williamson, spoke to Daniela Rana about his involvement in the competition:
