LISTEN: Fundraising walk in memory of Longford woman who died from cancer

A fundraising walk is taking place on Ardagh Mountain in Co Longford on August 31st, in memory of a local woman who died from cancer.

Trek for Theresa will start and finish at Ardagh GAA pitch at 12 noon.

Theresa McDermott Quinn died in February 2024 after a two-year battle with the illness.

Funds from the walk will go to Co Longford Palliative Care and Night Nurse Teams.

Eoghan Murphy has been speaking to Theresa's son, Shane Quinn, who is one of the organisers.
