A Co. Roscommon national school is celebrating their 25th anniversary this month. Based in Roscommon Town, Gaelscoil de hÍde is celebrating 25 years open. The school started back in 2000 in Mote Park, with one teacher, and 17 students.
It has since moved into Roscommon Town and has grown to 150 students and has 8 teachers. Darragh O'Connor visited the school earlier today and spoke to principal Orla Ní Chuinneagáin and some sixth class students about their love for Irish.
