LISTEN: Carrick restaurenteur says four day week is working well for staff

As the hospitality sector looks forward to an easing of Covid restrictions, there is a concern among many businesses involved about how to re-hire or retain staff after the two year interuption which has seen many workers leave the sector.

A Carrick-on-Shannon restaurant and food shop has been taking a close look at working conditions and pay for staff, and they decided to implement a four day working model during the first lockdown.

It's been working very well for the business, and it's workers, according to Conor Maher from The Oarsman.
