Guardians of the GAA’, is a history of the GAA from the perspective of Garda involvement.
The book, written by Brian Willoughby and Noel Hynes, includes features on over 1600 Garda members who played Gaelic games from 1922 to 2017.
That includes well known names from this region including Phil 'the gunner' Brady, Mick Higgins, Fergal Reynolds and Emlyn Mulligan.
