Timmie Beirne passed away on Saturday 25th October 2025. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his father; Patrick and his mother; Kate.
Loving husband of Bernadette and loving father of Genevieve Cox (Gene, Annaduff), Dianne McNabola (Tom, Dromod), Jolene McCormack (Jim, Cloone) and Bernadette Boyle (Kieran, Carrick-on-Shannon).
Sadly missed by his family, his brothers; Jim and Pat (Kilcock), Anna McKeon (Longford), Alice Frawley and Mary Beirne (Pearl River, New York).
Loving grandad to his adored grandchildren; Jamie, Alanah, Kayla, Darren, Nathan, Robyn, Holly, April, Noah, Willow and Donnacha.
Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Timmie will repose at his home in Cloone (Eircode N41 DV22) on Tuesday, 28th of October 2025 from 4.00pm – 8.00pm. (Please note there will be a 15-minute break at 6.00pm). House strictly private to family, friends and neighbours outside of reposing times please. Requiem Mass for Timmie will take place in St. Mary's Church Cloone (N41 V009) on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery. Timmie’s Funeral Mass will be streamed live on: www.churchtv.ie/cloone Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association c/o McKeons’ Funeral Directors, Cloone or any family member. The Beirne family very much appreciate your support at this very difficult time.
