Thomas (Tom) Cassidy passed away on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026. Unexpectedly, at his home.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Teresa and Michael, sister Bernie Casey, brother-in-law Geoff and his beloved niece Teresa Cassidy.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers Seamus (Grange) and Mike (Ballinaheglish), sisters Patricia Lawrence (U.K.), Mary Conneely (Kilkerrin) and Margaret Kelly (Carrownabrickna, Roscommon Town), sisters-in-law Breege and Kathy, brothers-in-law Michael Conneely, Ned Kelly and Joe Casey, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and his many wonderful neighbours and friends.
May Tom rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’c until 7 o’c followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church, Four-Mile-House. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Ballinderry Cemetery.

Tom’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the emergency services who attended Tom’s home on Tuesday evening. They would also like to thank his neighbours and friends for their kindness and support at this time.
