Rose Gettings (née Harten) passed away on Saturday, 21st of February 2026. Peacefully at out Lady’s Manor Edgeworthstown surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her brothers Tim, Donald and Seamus, her sister Liz, grandchildren Daniel, Katie and Mary.
Beloved wife of Michael and devoted mother to her cherished children Andrew, Patricia, Geraldine, Michelle, Caroline and Micheál.
Deeply missed and forever loved by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law Enda, Noel, David and John daughters-in-law Sharon and Fiona, her adored grandchildren Claire, David, Edel, Shane, Sean, Sarah, Eleanor, Riain, Keeva, Emily, Maria, Luke, Michael and Evelyn, brother Ollie sisters Kitty and Patsy, extended family, neighbours and her many good friends.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home Barrack St. Granard (N39AX97) on Tuesday the 24th of Feb. from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church Granard arriving at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday the 25th at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Granardkille new cemetery.
