Roger Roddy Forrester passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13th, surrounded by his family and in the tender care of the staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey.
Predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Mary Teresa, brothers; Michael, Tommy, Brother Brian and sisters; Úna and Maureen.
Roddy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Brian, Thomas, Josie, John and Marie, Patrick, Thomas, Marian, Regina, Fiona, Gerard and Lorraine, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, cousins, his dear friends in Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin (F45 Y168), on Sunday 16th November from 5pm - 7pm with removal afterwards to St. Patrick’s Church, Elphin, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11.30am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
