Rev Fr Gerard J McNulty
USA and late of Battery Rd, Longford.
Rev Fr Gerard J McNulty died peacefully at Nazareth House, San Diego, on 3rd February 2026, in the kind and loving care of loyal friends and attentive nursing staff.
Predeceased by his brother, Dr Cyril, and his parents, Paddy and Lily McNulty. Sadly missed by his brothers, Michael, Aidan and David; sisters-in-law, Mary, Peggy, Theresa and Martina; and all his nieces and nephews.
Fr Gerry attended All Hallows College, Dublin, and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, CA, in 1967. He was a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and a much-loved Chaplain in the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Dearly beloved member of his family and will be very much missed by all his colleagues and friends, both in Ireland and the USA.

His remains will repose at the home of his brother, Michael, 20 Sandymount Avenue, Dublin, D04 VP11, on Wednesday, 25th February, from 4 o’clock, concluding with prayers at 8 o’clock.
Removal to St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by interment in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford.
