Quiney Fay (nee Boyhan) died on Monday, 26th January 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.
Pre-deceased by her parents, sisters, brothers and by her grand-daughter Alison.
Quiney will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, beloved husband Pat, daughters; Caroline O’Rourke, Antoinette O’Brien, Imelda Hynes, Noeleen McCarthy, Denise Bell and Áine Dooley, sons; Vincent, Kevin and Paddy, her brother Tom, daughters-in-law; Lorraine, Deirdre and Aislinn, sons-in-law; Frank, Aidan, Stephen, Ken, Stephen and George, grandchildren; Thomas, Emily, Louise, Elliot, Orlagh, Eimear, Aoife, Dylan, Isabelle, Daniel, Hannah, Lucy, Sophie, Ethan, Adam, Amy, Ryan, Jake, Chloe, Sarah, Katie, Sebastian and Senan, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home (N39 Y8N4) on Thursday 29th January from 5.00pm until 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday 30th January in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.

There is parking available at Glennon’s Funeral Home (N39 EC81) , which is in close proximity to the family home. We would encourage people to park there and walk to the house following the directions of the stewards.
