Phyllis Monaghan (nee Hayden) died unexpectedly but peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar on Saturday, 24th January 2026, surrounded by her family.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Denis and Mary; sister, Ethna; and by her beloved husband, Jimmy.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Fiona and Deirdre, son Adrian, son-in-law Dessie, grandchildren Jade, Rhys and Jack, great-grandchild Freya-rose, brother Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, great neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Tuesday 27th January from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 28th January at 11.00am in St.Mel’s Cathedral, interment afterwards in Newtownforbes cemetery.
