Philomena Latimer (nee Shanley) passed away on Tuesday, August 5th 2025. Peacefully, in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her sisters Madeline and Marion.
Beloved wife of Charlie, and dear mother to Pamela, Georgina Moorhead and Raymond, sadly missed by her children, daughter in law Kathleen, son in law Floyd, grandchildren Simon and Gemma brothers and sisters Tommie (Longford), Charlie (Killashandra), Michael (Bornacoola), Addie (Ballinasloe), Ann (Bornacoola) and Sadie (Mullingar), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews relatives, neighbours, and friends

Philomena will repose in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Thursday from 6pm until 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon in St Michael’s Church, Bornacoola (N41E421), followed by burial in St Paul’s cemetery, Newtownforbes.
