Peter Raftery passed away on Tuesday, 10th, February 2026. Peacefully, in the devoted care of the staff at Central Park Nursing Home, Clonberne.
Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret and siblings Patsy, Helen (Nellie), Paul and Ciaran.
Sadly missed by his sister Mary Carty (Ballygar), brother Michael (Scotland), brother-in-law P.J., sisters-in-law Catherine and Josephine. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30pm, followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church, Four-Mile-House. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 11.30 am. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
