Peter (Pete) Shiel

Peter (Pete) Shiel passed away on Saturday 11th April, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, in his 95th year.
Peter is the last surviving member of the Shiel family of Bunnamuca, Strokestown.
Sadly missed by his adoring children; Seamus, Mary, Coman, Margaret, Martina, Peadar, Eibhlín, Ronan & Ciaran. Remembered by his eighteen grandchildren; Katie, Sinéad, Maeve, Siobhán, Brian, Niamh, Aoife, Kevin, Aidan, Fiona, Amy, Cathal, Mai, Ciara, Caitlin, Grace, Sam & Ellen Ros. Adored by his four great-grandchildren; Donagh, Róise, Tessa & Lily. Deeply regretted by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Pete is reunited with his loving wife Eileen, son Brendan & infant daughter Anne.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown (F42 RK72), on Monday, April 13th, from 5pm until 8pm. Removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, on Tuesday, April 14th, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.
