Patrick (Paddy) Scanlon passed away peacefully on Friday 20th June 2025
(Retired An Garda Síochána)
Predeceased by his beloved parents Bridget and Patrick and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving brother Tommie, sons Paul, Pat, Don and Steven, daughters Marie and Janice, and their mother Kitty, his niece Sonya, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours, friends and his former colleagues of An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church on Thursday at 10-30am followed by cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1-30pm.
