Padraig Thompson passed away on Tuesday, October 7th. Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff of Roscommon University Hospital.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret (nee Sice), his parents, Patrick and Mary Bridget and his sister Minnie.
Forever missed by his children Maria, Bernie, Anne, Mags, Patrick and Joseph. Fondly remembered by his fourteen cherished grandchildren. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law, Niall, Jake, and Mark, daughters-in-law Veena and Eilis. Deeply regretted by his sisters Ann and Beatrice, his sisters-in-law Bridie and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Thursday, 9th October from 4pm to 7pm followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea, arriving for 7.30pm (approx). Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am. Padriag will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castlerea.
