P.J. Quinn,

Chapel Lane, Longford.

P.J. Quinn passed away Peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Innis Ree Nursing Home, surrounded by his family on 6th June 2026.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, parents; John and Margaret, sister Brigid and by his nieces; Brigid and Maria.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family; Malachy, Rosario, Shirley, John and Mary, daughters-in-law; Bea and Paula, sons-in-law; Colman, Wayne and Diarmaid, sisters; Margaret Quigley and Annamai, and brothers; Sean, Philip, Christy, James and Bernard.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Conor, Shannen, Aoife, Quinten, Kyana, Cillian, Eoin, Tamara, Tonicha, Lorna, Liam, Keilon, Aidan and Saorla, great- grandson Séimí, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; Brendan Quigley and Tony Connolly, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence (N39 K7H7) on Sunday 7th June from 4.00pm until 8.00pm and also on Monday 8th June from 3.00pm until 8.00pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday 9th June in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations if desired to the Longford Branch of the Alzheimer’s Society , c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Innis Ree for the exceptional care given to P.J.

They would also like to thank the wonderful carers and the Longford Alzheimer’s Society for their kindness shown to P.J while at home.
