Oliver O’Higgins died on Thursday, 1st January 2026 peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Maryann, brothers; Frank, Desmond, Patsy, sisters; Madeline, Patricia and Noeleen.
Sadly missed by his sisters; Adelaide (Toronto), Joan (London), sisters in law; Eileen (Cloone Village), Eileen (London), brother in law Hans (Switzerland), nephews; Brian, Keilan, Colin, Declan, Willie, Ciaran, Adrian, Simon and Ciarán, nieces; Marie, Úna, Marie, Lorraine, Síobhán, Gráinne, Síobhán, Vera and Briguette.
Oliver’s remains will repose in St Mary’s Church, Cloone Village on Sunday 4th January 2026 from 5pm-7pm, followed by prayers at 7:15pm.
Mass of the resurrection will take place in St Mary’s Church, Cloone on Monday 5th January at 12 noon, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
