Michael (Mickey) Flanagan died on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his parents; Thomas & Alice Flanagan, and his brothers; Francie & Thomas Joseph.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers; Martina, Oliver, Gerry, Pauline, Pius, Brendan, Geraldine, Bernadette & Patrick, his sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Removal from Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Cavan at 6pm on Thursday evening, May 21st, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Aughawillan for prayers at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, May 22nd, at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
