Michael (Mickey) Connaughton
Knock, Lanesborough, Co Longford.
Wednesday, 26th November. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Bernadette and Michael, brothers; Noel, Declan and Lorcan and his sister Mary.
Devoted husband of Mamie and much loved Dad to Tracy, Sinéad and the late Murry.
Forever missed by his heartbroken family, twin brother Seanie and brother Josie. Remembered by his sons-in-law; Donal Hogan and Barry Hogan. Adored by his grandchildren; Ella, Lily, Daniel, Rían, Faye, Michael and Seán. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at the home of his daughter and son-in-law (Sinéad and Barry Hogan) at Magheraveen, Lanesborough N39 KP02 on Thursday evening from 4 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal on Friday morning arriving to St Mary’s Church, Lanesborough N39 TN99 for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’c. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.

Those attending the removal on Thursday evening are kindly asked to adhere to the traffic plan in place – approaching the family home from the Ballymahon Road and exiting via the Longford Road.
The Connaughton family would sincerely like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped care for Mickey. They’d also like to acknowledge their friends and neighbours for their kindness at this time.
