Michael McCauley passed away on Thursday, 2nd April 2026. Peacefully in Sligo University Hospital, with his loving family by his side following a courageous and dignified battle with illness.
Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Mary McCauley and his brother Gerard.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his devoted wife and best friend Belinda, his cherished and adored children Shane, Jessica and Alan, his brothers Brian and Sean, daughter-in-law Dillon, Jessica’s fiancé Conor, sisters-in-law Róisin, Mary Teresa and Imelda, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Michael will repose in his home (F52 DR68) on Saturday (April 4th) from 4pm until 7pm. House private outside of reposing times please. Mass of the Resurrection will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle on Easter Sunday (April 5th) at 1pm, Cremation service will take place afterwards in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 4pm.
