Mel Farrelly passed away on Wednesday, 6th May, 2026. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Marc (Rebecca Connolly), Louise (Brendan Ward) and Sean (Joanne Barry). Sadly missed by his adored grandchildren Aoibhín, Morgan and Chloe, great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by his parents and brother Seán.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Finnegans Funeral Home, Longford Street, Arva (H12 D254) on Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Sunday at 10:30 in St. Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe, with burial afterwards in Colmcille Cemetery.
