Mary Smyth (née Conway) passed away on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas, parents Alec and May and brother Frank.
Forever missed by her sons James, Aidan and Richard, daughter Alexandra Geraghty, brother Des, daughter-in-law Olivia, son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Marc (Shauna), Lauren, Aidan Jnr. (Caroline), Emma (Dan), James Jnr., Eve and Stephen, great-grandchildren Madison and Cameron, sisters-in-law Mary Banahan (Jim), Laurie O’Grady and Evelyn Conway, brother-in-law Tom Smyth (Eilish) nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Mary rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
