Mary Oates (nee Falconer) passed away on Sunday, May 3rd 2026. Unexpectedly and peacefully at University Hospital, Galway
Predeceased by her husband Tommy Oates, her parents Peter and Annie and brother Peter.
Survived by her son Anthony, daughter in law Collette, her beloved grandchildren Páidí, Tommy and Florence, brother Cyrill, sister in law Mary, nephews John, Paul, Marc and James, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary will repose at The Heritage Centre, Church Lane, Carrick on Shannon (N41KP62) Wednesday 6th from 5.30 pm until 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday 7th at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff (N41CF54) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
