Mary Jane (Mai) Redican (née McGoey) passed away on Friday, 14th November 2025. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her devoted husband, Seamus; parents, Patrick & Catherine; and brother, P.J. McGoey.
Sadly missed by her loving family: Sharon (Ted), Adrian, Shane (Anne), Damien, Kathrina (Michael) & Ciarán. Remembered by her brother, Matt. Adored by her grandchildren, Gavin, Steven, Eimear, Saoirse, Cormac, Aisling, Róise, Caoimhe, Ruaidhrí, Áine, Aoife & Cian and great-grandson, Tadhg. Deeply regretted by her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62, Saturday from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from her home in Drumroosk North, on Sunday morning to arrive for Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield (N41 RC99), at 11.30am. Fenagh Abbey cemetery is where burial will take place.
Due to time constraints there will be no sympathising in the church after the Funeral Mass. Mass may be viewed online at:
House open to family, neighbours and close friends on Saturday evening following the reposing.
