Mary Hanly passed away on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of North West Hospice, Sligo.
Predeceased by her Parents Kathleen and John and her beloved son Ronan.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Mark, Daughters Rosaleen (O'Dowd) and Martina, Sons Coman and Michael. Remembered by her son-in-law Damien, daughter-in-laws Noreen and Edel and Martina's partner Joe. Adored by her grandchildren Chloe, Natasha, Fiachra, Rossa, Liam, Saoirse, Ciara, Ella, Ailbhe, Niamh, Aine, Leo and Croía. Deeply regretted by her sister Margaret Duffy (Keash), brother Tom Bermingham (Castlerea), sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the residence of her son Coman and daughter-in-law Noreen, Cordrehid, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon (N41TK30) on Friday 16th January from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral will arrive at St Michael's Church Drumlion for requiem Mass on Saturday 17th January at 12noon followed by burial immediately afterwards to Drumlion Cemetery.
