We all ready miss this giant of Irish Women. The American branch of the family have enjoyed being with her in Ireland and the USA. Mary was the very top of our cousins and a grand link to where our grandparents grew up and left the old sod for the Economic safety of the USA. We were so happy to have Mary introduce us to her fabulous Sisters and their familles. She visited Boston just a few years ago and was thrilled to see the places where the Roscommon Irish settled In Boston. I will certainly miss our frequent phone calls as if we lived just down the street instead of the large physical distance between us. So long my lovely cousin. We shall meet again. Fair Winds and following seas.

We are sending our deepest condolences from the US Grady/Connolly family. We first met Mary in May 2018. We were wandering through Castlerea looking for connections to find our Connolly roots, and Mary saved the day by finding us, picking us up, and showing us around, including where our grandmother Katie Connolly was baptized, went to school and lived. Following that, she introduced us to our Connolly cousins, and visited with us every time we came back home to Ireland. We will never forget Mary, and the way she welcomed us back to Ireland as part of the Connolly/Flanagan family. May she rest in peace. ~ Rob Grady & family
