Mary-Ellen passed away on Friday March 6th, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of the Padre Pio Ward, St. Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Kiernan, and her parents; James and Mary-Rose.
Mary-Ellen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving daughter, Cora McGovern; son-in-law, Raymond; cherished grandchildren, Michaela and Keoghan; great-grandchildren, Lucca and Milo; sister, Anne Brady; brother, Michael McKeon; brother-in-law, Johnnie; sister-in-law, Peggy; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Kellys Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford (N39 K381) this Sunday, March 8th, from 4pm until 5:30pm, with removal afterwards to St. Mary’s Church, Drumlish, Co. Longford, arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 9th at 11am, followed by burial in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.
