Martin Moore, died on Sunday, 15th March 2026, peacefully in the care of the staff at University Hospital, Galway. Surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his father William, mother Gertie, and his brother-in-law Mickie Blighe.
Sadly missed by his brothers; Paddy (Dysart), John (Creeher), Billy (Creeher), and Peter (Creeher), his sisters; Peggy Lynch (Dysart), Mary Mongey (Lucan), Lucy Fitzmaurice (Ballygar), Anne Dowd (Four Roads), Gertie Doolan (Ballybride), and Kitty Blighe (Moate Park), brothers-in law, sisters-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, uncle Tommy Finnerty (Moore), Aunt Rose Moran (Ballintubber), cousins, relatives, and friends.
Reposing at Dempsey’s funeral home, Ballyforan, H53 HE63 on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyforan.
Martin’s Funeral Mass takes place on Thursday morning at 11.30am with Burial afterwards in Taughboy cemetery.
The Moore family wish to acknowledge the excellent care provided to Martin over many years by Brothers of Charity, in Roscommon, Ballybane and Knocknacarra.
