Lionel Simpson died on Tuesday, 7th of October peacefully, in the tender care of the doctors and nurses of Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents George and Ethel, and his infant son Jason.
Deeply loved and missed by his wife Dorothy, sons; Craig and Mark, and beloved grandson Eóghan, sister Jennifer, brother Howard, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening from 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c. Removal from his home on Friday morning, arriving to Saint Coman’s Parish Church, Roscommon for funeral service at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
House private.
