Kathleen Geraghty (Née McLoughlin) passed away on Wednesday, May 6th 2026. Peacefully, in her 91st year surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by her parents Rose and Stephen, husband Patrick, brothers Gerard, Stephen and grandson Stephen.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family.
Rremembered with love by her son Pat, daughters Maureen, Ann, Caroline, Rita, Joan, Dympna, Linda and Ella, sons-in-law and partners Brendan, Seamus, John, Aidan and Phil, adored grandchildren Eoin, Sinéad, Karen, Ciarán, Colm, Clodagh, Padraig and Deirdre, sister-in-law Esther, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Sunday 10th May from 4 o’ clock until 6 o’ clock. followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 7 o’clock.
Mass of Christian burial on Monday 11th May at 12 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.
