Friday, April 17th, 2026 Peacefully, in her 97th year , in the tender care of all the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon and previously in her own home with her wonderful team of carers.
Predeceased by her parents William and Annie, brother Peter, sisters Mary (Connaughton), Lena and Nancy and her beloved nephew Billy.
Fondly remembered by her nephews Michael and Eddie, nieces-in-law Anne, Paula and Anne and their families, relatives, friends and her many good neighbours.
May Julia rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 4 pm until 5.30 pm, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 am. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Roscommon Hospice.
