Joseph (Joe) Gill passed away on Sunday, May 10th, 2026. Peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. In the excellent care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Lilly Gill.
Sadly missed by his family, his wife Noelene, daughters Fidelma, Róisín and Eimear, sons Joseph, Adrian and Kieran. Remembered by his sons-in-law Pat, Paudge and Ross, daughters-in-law Catherine, Alison and Eleanor. Missed by his sisters Marie (Freddie), Carmel and Christina. Adored by his grandchildren Aaron, Josh, Diarmuid, Brian, Megan, Tara, Mia, Brendan, Matthew, Luke and Gracie. Fondly remembered by his relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon, (N41 KP62) on Tuesday May 12th from 5pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday 13th May in the Church of the Immaculate Conception (N41 D766), Drumsna at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in Annaduff Cemetery (N41 CF54).
