John (Sean) Byers passed away on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026. Peacefully, at The Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent.
Predeceased by his wife Rosie and sisters; Mollie, Maggie & Lill.
Deeply regretted by his daughter Mary (Graeme), his nephew Paul, extended family; nieces, nephews and his many close friends and good neighbours.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Friday (27th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from Briody's Funeral Home on Saturday (28th) to St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
