John Mel Smyth

Harlesden, London and late of Ferefad, Longford.

John Mel Smyth passed away on Thursday, 12th February 2026. Peacefully, at Charing Cross Hospital, London.

Predeceased by his parents John and Josie and his son Shane.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Jade (Dublin), his sons Aran and Jason (London), his brothers Philip (Manchester), Barney (Moydow), Leo (Liverpool) and Martin (London), his sisters Shirley (Cavan) and Pauline (Cavan), aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Burial of ashes will take place in Ardagh cemetery following 11.30am Mass on Sunday next 8th March.
