John McGuinness passed away on Tuesday, 20th January 2026. Peacefully, after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the nurses and staff in St. Mark's Unit at the Hermitage Clinic, Lucan.
Predeceased by his parents Al and Catherine and his sister Monica.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, his daughters; Carol and Anne, son Alan, his sister Mary O'Loughlin, his nephew Hugh and niece Katie, his grandchildren; Jack, Katie, Steven, Michael, Ben, Tom and Eden, his sons-in-law; Martin Halpin and Neville Mills, daughter-in-law Adie McGuinness, sisters-in-law; Bernadette and Imelda, brother-in-law Shay, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing in St. Brigid's Church, Ardagh, this Thursday evening from 6pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 1pm.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
