John (Johnny) Higgins died on Monday, June 9th 2025 peacefully in his own home, surrounded by his loving family following a short illness.
John is predeceased by his parents: Marie (nee Grouden) & Jack, sister Geretti (Keegan), nephew & godson Denis (Lynch), grand-nephews Cameron (Fox), angels Rory (Keegan) & Hugo (Finerty), brothers-in-law, Michael Stacey, Patrick Keegan and Oliver Walshe.
He is deeply r regretted by his dear loving friend Margaret Mulvey, his brothers and sisters: Rosemary (O'Toole), Anne (Walshe), Sheila (Lynch), Michael, Joseph, Gerard, Eugene, Imelda (Finerty), Oliver, Theresa (Fox) and Martina (Stacey), sisters-in-law Marion, Anne & Rose, brother-in-law Liam, nephews, nieces, grand nephews & nieces, god-children: Deirdrę H, Siobhân, Deirdre M & Michael, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in St Mary's church Tang this Tuesday evening from 5.30 o'clock until 7.30 o'clock followed by prayers. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 o'clock followed by burial in Temple-A-Valley cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the South Westmeath Hospice Foundation.
