John Fitzpatrick died on Sunday, 1st March 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his parents; John and Annie, sister Marie and by his brothers; Eugene and Alfie.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Bridie, daughters; Jacqueline Muldowney (Bornacoola), Joanne Quinn (Drumlish), Yvonne Bennett (Longford), Sinead Stenhouse (Aberdeen) and Marie McDonnell (Strokestown), sons; Enda (Dublin) and John (Longford), sister Ann Fadden (Castlebar), brother Pat (Buffalo, New York), daughters-in-law; Roisin and Caroline, sons-in-law; John, Paddy, Damien, Craig and Michael, his 26 adored grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday 3rd March from 5.30pm, concluding with prayers at 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 4th March in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am with interment afterwards in Newtownforbes cemetery.
