John Connolly died on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, peacefully at his home.
Reunited in his heavenly home with his beloved son Phillip, parents Patrick and Mona, and brothers; Bernard and Padraig.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (née Kelly), brother Tony, sisters; Mary Kelly, Margaret Connolly and Mona Devine, brother-in-law Gerard, sisters-in-law; Una, Eileen and Nora, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighours and friends.
Funeral arriving to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Rahara (F42 XW08) on Saturday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Rahara Cemetery.
The Connolly family would like to express their sincere thanks to their relatives, neighbours, friends and especially to the doctors and wonderful carers who looked after John during his illness.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to Roscommon Hospice or The Irish Cancer Society.
